Staffordshire Bull TerriersThe Staffordshire Bull Terrier was admitted to the registration in the AKC Stud Book, effective October 1974, and joined the Terrier Group in March 1975.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is of great strength for its size and although muscular they are active and agile. The "Staffy" is of indomitable courage, high intelligence and tenacity; this, coupled with its affection for its humans and friends (children, in particular), its off-duty quietness and trustworthy stability makes it a foremost all-purpose dog.
The "Staffy" has such temperament to make him a loyal pet and companion and worthy show dog. The breed also excels at Fly Ball and Agility.
